Remember in November


The     second Remembrance Run 5K takes place in the Phoenix Park on     Sunday, November 10th– starting at 11am. This year’s unique     event- which welcomes Walkers, Joggers and Runners- will again have a Special     Remembrance Theme– remembrance of friends of family passed or people     close to us who may currently be struggling with illness or other life     challenges.

Remembrance     Run is organised by Athletics Ireland in association with and has an ambition to raise €200,000     for charities in the run up to Christmas. All participants are invited and     encouraged to create a fundraising page for the charity of their choice on, in remembrance of their loved ones, family or friends. Over     500 charities are available to fundraise for.

If 2,000 participants decide to raise a very achievable €100     each, in remembrance of their loved one, the event will meet its charitable     fundraising target.

Closing     Date: Friday 8th of November

Location: 5km course in the Phoenix Park

Charity: Participants in are encouraged to adopt a     favourite Charity to fundraise for. will provide a direct link     to over 300 charities – local and national – that participants can choose     from.

Entry  fee: Entry is €20 per person or €50 for Family Entry     (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children)

Each     finisher will receive a specially designed candle, a certificate and a     goody bag to mark their participation in this special themed chip timed     event.
